# How to Make It:

01 - In a medium bowl, combine strawberry or cherry flavored gelatin with 1 cup boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved, then add 1/2 cup cold water. Divide evenly among 8 clear serving cups. Refrigerate until set, at least 1 hour.
02 - In a separate bowl, whisk instant vanilla pudding mix with 1 1/4 cups cold milk until it thickens, about 2 minutes. Fold in 1 cup whipped topping until smooth. Once the red layer is set, distribute the pudding mixture evenly over the red layer. Chill 30 minutes until firm.
03 - In a clean bowl, dissolve berry blue flavored gelatin in 1 cup boiling water. Stir in 1/2 cup cold water. Once the white layer is firm, gently pour or spoon the blue gelatin over the pudding layer in each cup.
04 - Refrigerate the assembled cups for an additional 2 to 3 hours, or until the blue layer is completely set.
05 - Before serving, add a dollop of whipped topping, fresh berries, and sprinkles to each cup as desired.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The colors and layers guarantee oohs and aahs — it's a clever showstopper without much effort.
  • Even if you're not a dessert person, the bright flavors and nostalgic feel make this disappear quickly at parties.
02 -
  • If you rush the layers or pour while one is still soft, the colors will swirl together and lose their sharp definition.
  • Letting the gelatin cool slightly before pouring over the pudding helps the lines stay crisp and clean.
03 -
  • Let each layer cool until just warm before pouring to prevent colors blending.
  • If you want vivid layers, choose shallow cups over tall ones for a more dramatic look.
