16 - 1 tbsp lemon juice
17 - 1 tbsp olive oil
18 - 1/4 tsp salt
19 - 1/8 tsp black pepper

→ Serving

20 - 4 burger buns, lightly toasted
21 - 1 cup lettuce leaves
22 - 1 medium tomato, sliced
23 - 1/4 small red onion, thinly sliced

# How to Make It:

01 - Combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, dill, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl. Stir thoroughly until incorporated, cover, and refrigerate until ready to serve.
02 - Combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, feta cheese, red onion, parsley, minced garlic, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix gently until just combined—avoid overworking the meat to maintain texture.
03 - Divide the chicken mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each into uniform burger patties, approximately ¾ inch thick. Create a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.
04 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Place patties in the pan and cook for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F.
05 - Place lettuce leaves on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Top with a cooked chicken patty, followed by tomato slices, red onion rings, and a generous spoonful of chilled tzatziki sauce. Cover with the top bun and serve immediately.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The feta melted into the chicken keeps each burger impossibly juicy without any heavy sauces
  • That homemade tzatziki comes together in minutes and transforms everything it touches
  • You can prep the sauce and patties ahead, making weeknight dinners feel like a Greek vacation
02 -
  • Ground chicken has a different texture than beef, so these patties will feel softer when raw but firm up beautifully once cooked
  • Letting the mixture rest in the fridge for 30 minutes before shaping helps the patties hold together better if you have time
  • The tzatziki actually tastes better if you make it a few hours ahead, so the garlic has time to mellow out
03 -
  • Use a box grater for the cucumber and then squeeze it in a clean kitchen towel or paper towels until almost no water comes out
  • Let the cooked burgers rest for about 3 minutes before assembling so the juices redistribute
